Puddles on Jalan Letjen S Parman Caused Traffic Jam

A rain that pours the capital city, leaving puddles on some roads in West Jakarta on Sunday (12/13). No wonder, it causes traffic jam.

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, puddles have flooded Jalan letjen S Parman, from Grogol towards Tomang, precisely in front of Trisakti and Tarumanegara universities. Its water level reaches 40 cm.

In the field, a number of Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers seen on standby in such roads while managing the motorists.

"We here to direct the motorists thus their motorcycles not broken down," exclaimed Udin, one of PPSU officers.

Meanwhile, the Grogol Flyover's pump house has been functioned to suck up puddles in front of both universities.

"I ensure that the puddles will recede within one hour, as long as heavy rain does not happen," uttered Anto, an officer of pump house.
